New Music Friday 1/29/21
I’ve been a fan of Trent Dabbs’ acoustic folk style for some time. His latest song “Retrospect” hits different though. His voice is more dynamic, floating above the airy, electric sounds. I wasn’t expecting to be so captivated by the song, but it’s an immediate hit. Press play and see if you agree.
I included a second YouTube video for Mosa Wild’s new song. “Cry Baby” is not my favorite song from the group (though it’s good), but it reminded me to go back and listen to their last EP. I can’t wait for more music from them. My best comparison for them at the moment would be to imagine if Justin Vernon of Bon Iver produced and co-wrote a new Kings of Leon album.
