Hard rock band, Thrice remains consistent. There’s little else to say about the band’s new album. If any of the band’s songs have ever appealed to you, Palms is another collection of songs that should find favor. The band has definitely pushed themselves over the years and tried new things, but still just remain locked in on “their” sound. After a few listens Palms sounds great. The album can blur together a bit, but it’s still dynamic. Mostly, I appreciate the continued lyrics harping on social justice from lead singer Dustin Kensrue.
Does Khalid ever stop making music?
Both Clara Mae and Charlotte Lawrence have something for you if you’re looking for some pop to move your foot to. And Beta Radio has your tenderly plucked, folk itch covered this week.
